Hello all, I hope you had a wonderful New Years, drank lots of champagne, danced and achieved the perfect New Years kiss! I have spent New Years in many different places, with many different people, but this year was the ultimate! Verbier, is, in my little opinion, the most amazing place to enjoy the festivities! After a full day of fabulous ski-ing and lunch at "Off Shore" www.offshorecafe.com, a funky diner with surf board embellished walls and a pink beetle in the centre of the room, it's time to get ready for a crazy night. Leave your Louboutins at home and don your Uggs while hopping from house to house, devouring salmon blinis, guzzling champagne and as it pains me to say it... jagermeister bombs, you arrive at the town centre surrounded by hundreds of people gathered in the square at the stroke of midnight with hats, 2010 glasses and of course even more champagne! The atmosphere is that of what it should be... sheer joy and merriment! All you need is catch a plane, train then another train and finally a coach, a hop-skip and a somewhat-jump, or in my case slide, you are in a beautiful winter wonderland, clad in Montcler and cashmere, ready to meet old and new friends and experience the best holiday of your life! A fantastic holiday for fanatic skiers to the non-skiers, aka spa-goers and all the inbetweeners!
