I love the theatre, I love getting dressed up, the eclectic group of people who attend, watching live performances, it's just oh so civilised! Last night me and my gorgeous friend went to see "The Misanthrope" at The Comedy Theatre starring Damian Lewis and Keira Knightley. Crazily one of my favourite things about the play was the set, strewn with champagne bottles, Chanel bags, shoe boxes and large crystal vases filled with blooming flowers! The idea of taking a French 17th century play and transforming it for modern day just showed how little the world has really changed with all the vices and ambitions still the same. It was a really lovely evening and a definite recommendation for anyone with one to spare, however I did come out thankful that Keira has an English accent not an american one as in the play...
